This wave file is from yesterday's reception of the 6m band in the JA1 area. The person who provided me with this file said that there were 106 stations decoded in one period at that time. When he tested with the saved file later, it was 87 stations max.
How many stations can you decode in your environment?
Unzip the downloaded zip file and put the wave file in a folder of your choice, and let WSJT-X/JTDX /MSHV read it.

In my environment, it was MAX 95 decodes with JTDX optimum settings.

FT8 can't make QSOs if it can't decode, so the software's ability to decode will affect our enjoyment of FT8 operation.
Let's optimize each person's PC and software settings and enjoy FT8.

Here are some tips for optimizing JTDX.

In FT8 (and other digital modes, of course), the number of decodes can vary greatly depending on the software you choose to use, and even more so if you optimize that software. Also, setting your PC's power options to high performance will allow you to take full advantage of the CPU's performance. This is because a CPU with a boost clock function will always be in a boosted state.
Of course, using a high performance PC will also help reduce decoding time.

The software you use is of course up to you. I won't say anything about this because I'm sure you have your own beliefs and there will be repercussions if I mention it too strongly. However, if you benchmark with this file, you will have something to think about. I hope it will give you some hints about software selection, settings, and PC performance. In FT8, if you can't decode, you can't make a QSO. And if the part you can't decode contains a station you want to make a QSO with...

You have seen many times that people with smaller equipment(ex antennas) than yours in the neighborhood are making QSOs with stations that you can' t decode. Even if you have small equipment, depending on your "decoding performance", you may be able to QSO with stations that your neighbors with larger equipment could not decode.

Of course, there may be subtle differences in the surrounding noise level and radio propagation.

Here are the results of my experiment.

A comparison experiment with WSJT-X/MSHV.

I have nothing to say about it.

LIFEBOOK S904/J CPU i5 4300u (1.9GHz/2.5GHz), 6GB RAM
