ここのところFT8が多くなっているなぁ・・・ と思いデータを出してみました。
FT8率62%でした。 コンテストではSSB/CWも出ていますので結構な割合です。
音も出さず喋らずパドル操作もしないので、楽ですし深夜早朝でもできるのがその理由ですね。 2m,70cm band のFMはほとんど出ていないです。
IC-7300の内蔵時計のリセット現象 ― 2020年09月08日 09時16分21秒
もうかなり前からIC-7300の時計が数時間でも通電しないと時計がリセットされてしまいます。
内臓の電池がだめになっているのですが、多くの方が同じ現象に遭遇されていらっしゃるかと思います。時計のためだけに電源のスイッチを切らないのもなんだかなぁ・・・ ですよね。
メーカーでは出荷時はバックアップ電池の保持時間は2日の充電にて約1ケ月の保持を確認しているそうですが・・・
メーカーで異常箇所が認められ、修理・調整を実施する場合には以下の費用がかかるそうです。。
・技術料： 11,700円（税別）
・部品代： 部品交換が必要な場合
・見積料： 3,000円（税別） ※
（荷造送料 1,200円（税別）が別途必要）
電池の交換だけで済む場合は3500円程度ですむようです。
時計用リチウム二次電池の充放電サイクル特性を調べたところ、10％放電深度 300サイクル以上となっているとのことですけど・・・・・・・
実際はそんなにもたないですよね。
自分で直すというツワモノの方は以下の部品代がかかります。

同等の少し大きな電池に交換されてらっしゃる方もいます。
しかし失敗している例もネットで散見しますのでご注意を。
時計がずれていても他の機能には影響がありませんので放置しています。
しかし気になる方はPCの時計から校正できるソフトウェアがあります。
IC7300BKT Icom IC-7300 CAT Control
このソフトウェアを使用すればUSBケーブルで繋がっているIC-7300の時計を現在時刻に合わすことが可能です。
Set Modeを選択し、矢印のところは+09にして、四角く囲ったところをクリックすれば時計合わせができます。
私は気にせず放置ですが・・・ (^_^;)
しかし設計としてはどうなんでしょうね・・・ 電池はPCのマザーボードのようにコイン型のリチウム電池にすれば良いのにと思いますね。
純正のバックアップ電池はML414Hです。同等品としててMS621RやMS421Rがあります。また容量の大きなML1220も使えるようです。純正品以外を使う場合は自己責任でどうぞ。

For quite some time now, IC-7300's clock has been resetting itself if it is not energized for even a few hours.
This is because the internal battery is dead, but I think that many people have experienced the same phenomenon. It's not a good idea to keep turn on the power just for the sake of the clock...
It is said that the manufacturer confirms the retention time of the backup battery at the time of shipment for about one month by the charge of two days, but...
ICOM explains that a study of the charge-discharge cycle characteristics of rechargeable watch batteries shows a 10% discharge depth of over 300 cycles.................
But it doesn't actually last that long.

However, be aware that you may see failing case scattered around the internet.
Even if the clock is off, it doesn't affect other functions, so I'm leaving it alone.
But if you're curious, there is software that can calibrate the clock from your PC.

This software allows you to set the clock to the current time on your IC-7300 when it is connected via a USB cable.
Select Set Mode, enter your country's time difference for the arrow and click on the square to set the time.
For me, I don't care about it and leave it at that...
I think that the battery should be a coin type lithium battery like the motherboard of PC.
The backup battery for ICOM IC-7300 is ML414H. The MS621R and MS421R are also available as equivalent products. The ML1220, which has a larger capacity, can also be used. If you have a problem with your ICOM battery, you may be able to use one of those batteries instead of the genuine ICOM ones. If you use non-genuine batteries, please do so at your own risk.
