電波を発射する前には、その周波数が他の局によって使用されていないか、混信がないかをSSBやCW、FMモード等では確認しますよね? しかしFT8ではその確認をしないで電波を発射する人が多すぎます。私がCQを出しているDFで反対側のピリオドでいきなりCQを出し始めたり、いきなり他局を呼び始めたり。基本中の基本である「送信前の確認」をしていない人達は、一体何を考えているのでしようか? なんにも考えていないと思います。 ワイドグラフをよく見もせずにいきなり適当なDFでCQ出したり、いきなり他局を呼び始めたり。はっきり言わせてもらうと「すげー失礼」です。
Before TXing, we check to make sure that the frequency is not being used by another station, that there is no QRM in SSB, CW, FM mode, etc., right? But with FT8, too many people launch TX without doing that check. The DF that I have called CQ, somebody suddenly start sending out CQ or suddenly start calling other stations on the same DF opposite period. What are they thinking? They don't do the most basic thing, "Confirmation before TX", don't they? I don't think they are thinking about anything. Without looking at the wide graph carefully, they send a CQ with a not cheked DF, or start calling other stations. Let me say it clearly, I think it's really rude.
他局を呼び出す際にSPLIT FREQを使う人が100%ならば問題はないでしょう。しかし実際はON FREQで呼んでくる人も数多く存在します。
If 100% of people use SPLIT FREQ when calling other stations, there is no problem. But in reality, there are a number of people who will call you ON FREQ.
まずワイドグラフを見ましょう。そして送信しようとしている周波数が使用されているか否かをよく確認しましょう。
Let's look at the wide graph first. Then check carefully to see if the frequency you are trying to transmit on is being used.
